Disclaimer--This post may (or may not) be from Future Dwight.

Q: What is this?

A: I have no idea. I'm in the process of figuring that one out. Currently It stands as a repository of my MySpace Blogs.

Q: 2009? What?

A:
For the time being I wanted to make sure that this post stays on the top. I'm in the process of 'blog merging'. This is essentially the disclaimer that everything is 'in progress' on here, and that content may drastically change from one moment to the next. I've moved over the bulk of my '2005' blogs, many of which I might just axe all together down the line.

Q: So, you're just dumping MySpace blogs here?

A:
Yeah, pretty much. New stuff goes here too, although the only new posts I have to make are about the status of this page, so it's kinda boring. Real boring. The MySpace stuff is getting tagged with 'MySpace' so that it'll be easy to identify, and hopefully I'll have an ignorable archive of older blogs I didn't really want to lose and the new content will be better.

Q: Content? What the hell is [HWaC!]?

A:
How We are Curious! is the name I was using for music I had recorded. You can still find my original archive of stuff at the MySpace site. Eventually I'd like to create a non-blog page for that. For now I've dumped some of the mp3's at http://www.howwearecurious.com/music. The original MP3's are extremely quiet. I've tried to enhance the audio, but 'quality' (this totally refers to bitrate and not content in the least) is lost. I still have a lot of random recordings of stuff I never pieced together, but I kind of put everything on hiatus for a year. I've made a lot of noise at random intervals about how that's going to change, and this is more or less another one of those moments.

Q: So now...?

A:
Well, on top of that, the idea of creating a 'periodical' in either print or digital form had been seeded. It was going to be called Things We Shout at The Ground (in no particular order). I even had a blogspot site started for a while under thingsweshout.blogspot.com. It was intended to be a mixture of narrative, fiction, design and technology. My cousin Mike and his fiancee Maya both work for companies in the Industrial Design field. My short-term goal is to get this up and running as a 'next-step' blog for myself--polished, organized, better content... My long-term goal is to get those two and possibly a couple others contributing and to de-personalize a lot of my content. Basically, weed out the "I am bored, Work sucks, Hey Thursday!" posts and leave entries that I feel are at least a little entertaining (I said a little).

Q: What's new? You, uh... want to grab a drink?

A:
Okay:

Early 2007:         Site is registered.
Less Early 2007: First template is applied; Placeholder posts.
Q1/Q2 2007:       Pretty much nothing.
October 2007:     Movable Type 4 installed.
Oct 14 2007:       Migration of MySpace Blogs started.
                          Front Page Blog 'condensing' Begins.
Oct 16 2007:       Condensed Blogs using 'Extended' option.
                          Began Initial Categorization
2008:                  The Robot Insurrection begins.

Q: Oh, shit.

A:
Yeah, I know.

Q: But what else is... wait, am I going to be okay?

A:
They are benevolent masters. Just don't... well, I shouldn't say.

Q: What? No, wait--what?

A:
Just, make steps to de-electronicize your house. Do you have a calculator?

Q: Yeah. So?

A:
Get rid of it. Get rid of all of them. Just go buy a nice Abacus.

Q: ...so, what else?

A:
To-Do:

* Categories (Art, Music, TV, Books, Nonsense, etc...) for posts.
