Instead of Starting a Fire, You Should Be Heating Things Up
My presence on MySpace has been diminishing in an exponentially increasing fashion over the past couple months, and surprisingly enough dismayed is not a word that springs to mind when I muse on this. I find whereas 3-4 months ago I would spend hours at work clicking on friends and friends of friends to pass the time, now I pretty much log on and when I fail to see that New Messages! memo log right back out. Unlike others I don't plan to full-on remove myself from this high-brow world of hobnobbery, but I can say I devote much more of my time-wasting to the SiS Forums. Good times are had. Swing on by, we'll leave the door ajar. And, hey, there's some apple pie in the fridge! Who doesn't love apple pie? Actually- 80%, according to the SiS Poll. Turns out Pumpkin is held in highest regard. Personally I thought Banana Cream Pie should've been crowned Pie of Kings.
Mates of State had a new disc come out today, everyone should pick it up. You won't find it at Best Buy--yet. Give it a few weeks and I'm sure it'll turn up. There were a few other CD releases that I'm intrigued by, but nothing I'm familiar with enough to full-out endorse. The Squid and The Whale hit DVD and is easily one of the best movies I saw in theater's this year. And Tetris hit the DS yesterday. I didn't pick it up and can't for a few weeks at least, but it IS one of the main reasons I grabbed the system in the first place.
I plan to write something about St Patty's day at some point in some fashion. Somewhere. Just a heads up.
