I took the midnight train

After working from 8 in the morning until 11:30 at night last night I got home around midnight and, in as expedited a fashion as possible, changed to non-work clothes and weighed my three options that involved me gettng beer. Ended up down at Brothers with SS and a couple of his Illinoisian friends who I totally lied, cheated and stole my way through 2 high-life lites from. Suckers.

Tonight is Classic Thursday so anyone who knows me should know my schedule. Except the timescale for tonight is being bumped up from "last minute" to "6ish". Tomorrow is the Fenix TX show and the greatest villain humankind has known, The Winterhack, will be making a Milwaukee guest appearance in regards to this. Should be a good time. If anyone is up for a deadbeat Friday let me know, we'll probably be making a pre-concert appearance as well as a post at North and/or Water. This is a Team Madison drinking scenario which always seems to end well but never seems like it should...

I wish I was rocking out on Guitar Hero right now. And SS is firmly establishing his "Frenemy" status by making me want a Nintendo DS, which I know no living being on the planet needs. I don't know if I'm glad that I know how cool the system might actually be now or just upset that I have another useless gadget to want. But those damn mini-games... I'll kick flower petal ass if it's the last thing I do.
